Myspace Acquired by Google

by Hiroshi on 14-06-2009

Well... this problem is weird. A valued TechMynd reader has inquired about this issue.

HI, whenever I try to open http://www.myspace.com the page redirects to the Google homepage. I have tried other urls related to myspace but the whole domain myspace is redirecting towards the Google.com. What would be the problem? I think Google is acquiring myspace. I have tried with IE and FF. Both are redirecting to Google.

The Exception Unknown Software Exception - Application Error on IE7 Close

by Hiroshi on 08-05-2009

This is an irritating problem while closing IE6 or IE7 which gives a message like.
Error message:
'The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c81eb33.'
The problem is something to do with a conflict between the IE and some programs.

Solution
  • Open "Tools" in IE
  • Open "Manage Add-ons"
  • Open "Enable or Disable Add-ons"
  • This may take several attempts. Disable all add-ons.
  • If this clears the problem, then one of the add-ons is the cause.
  • If so, enable add-ons, one at a time until the problem returns.
  • That is the add-on causing the problem.
  • Disable that.

There is a way to simulate the iPhone Web browsing experience at Windows. Its possible to embed the rendering component into a native Windows application and give it enough polish to do a decent job of simulating the iPhone Web browsing experience. iBBDemo correctly renders Webkit targeted html, including the custom - webkit CSS extenstions, effectively giving a compelling demo/test platform for iPhone Web content from the comfort of a Windows desktop. private-browsingFirefox 3.1 and IE8 are bringing private browsing feature. It is present in Google Chrome as Incognito mode. So what's that private browsing all about?

If you've closed the browser, and there are no traces of the websites you visited in the browser's history, cookies or temporary files, that's what we call private browsing. by Hiroshi on 14-04-2009

Browsers warnings can be quite annoying. Specially when you want to work fast wanting to be not nagged by irritating warnings and alerts. Modern security schemes in browsers, operating systems and anti-viruses tend to just alert you or warn you about anything or everything you are going to do. When you are installing a software, I don not see any need for operating system to ask you to proceed or quit. I mean you are willingly installing that software or running a setup. Anyways, there comes an alert or warning in Firefox when page is being redirected or reloading. You can disable that alert warning by following these simple steps.
