Facebook, Google Buzz, Google Wifi collection and other services (mainly social networking websites) have been questioned about users privacy and security. Steve Jobs’ approach towards handling privacy and security issues for Apple devices had been entirely different. Steve Jobs took privacy very seriously. Steve Jobs said that, for example, at Apple, they worry a lot about location in phones. Steve Jobs thinks that before any app can get location data, it should ask user. Therefore app has to call the location service in device and device will ask user to verify it. This control is not in developer’s hand because they might not alert user and so Apple devices always alert users when any app tries to get current location of user.
