After smart phones, wearable smart devices seem inevitable. Google X is creating and testing Google Glass that is a wearable PC and can do almost anything that a smart phone does. It will also free you hands, eyes and ears unlike smart phone. Google have not launched the Glass for public yet, and there are solid news that other companies are in process to launch wearable gadgets in 2014. Apple, Microsoft, Baidu and Samsung are all working on wearable gadgets now. Its a matter of time which one gets more attention.

We are starting another channel at TechMynd. TechMynd’s technology fun channel. That is what we can describe it for now. This channel will have episodes and one episodes will be released in one month. One post will contain one episode and that episode will be updated for that particular month. For example ep-1-82012 means TM-Tech episode 1 of 8th month in year 2012. That’s it. Each episode will contain funny pics, funny videos or any other such funny material related to technology, that we would collect in that month. We will keep updating that episode until its respective month has been passed. I hope you get the idea. If you don’t have any idea about what you just read, it does not matter either. Just proceed to the funny technology stuff of August 2012.

Chinese telecom company Huawei unveiled today its new Android 3.2 powered tablet, called the MediaPad. The news was given during an event in Singapore, as well as a release date, set around September.

According to officials from Huawei, Honeycomb 3.2 is essentially the same as 3.1, only adapted to a smaller screen size, 7 inch as opposed to 10. As well as including a Video Demo to describe its interface, the Chinese manufacturing company also released the tablet’s technical specifications. Beneath its sleek 10.5 mm wide shell, the MediaPad holds a 7 inch capacitive screen with 217 pixels per inch, with IPS for a wider angle display.

How do you shutdown your PC (Computer CPU – not the Monitor)? Start -> Turn Off Computer -> Turn Off! Using this way will take 1 to 2 minutes to shutdown a PC. Want to shutdown PC in one second? Sometimes you need to shutdown PC quickly. 1 second is lightening speed for PC shutdown. Suppose your UPS is going down and you have few seconds left to turn off computer! In this case you want to shutdown PC in a blink. Using this trick can save your time. I can do it in one second and the 2nd second PC will be completely off. At the first attempt, you might take 3 seconds to get it done but with practice let’s hope you will be doing it in one second. Here is the little trick.
