Few days back I installed Android Ice Cream Sandwich on my HTC HD2 and found out later that it was not a stable release. Then I intended to install Android Gingerbread on HTC HD2 or stable release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich but after connecting HTC HD2 to PC, it needed sync application for Windows. Windows was not detecting my HTC and it was not syncing the phone. I tried Windows Sync center but it did not display the phone either. In many similar cases when your Android powered phone or Android tablet PC is not detected by the Windows then you need Android USB drivers. Android USB drivers are required to connect Android powered phone or tablet device to the computer or transferring media content and files to your Android device storage. While using Android phone or tablet for development purpose which requires ADB and Fastboot drivers, you also need these Android USB drivers.
