Android is just getting more sweeter. Google has announced the next version of Android, ‘Kitkat’. This is Android 4.4. Google explains how they named Android releases. Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate, so they decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favorite chocolate treats, Kit Kat!

Google Now can be your best personal digital assistant. Google Now cards help you stay informed and manage your personal and business life in a better way. Well informed and connected person can best utilize his available time and potential. Where ever you go, Google now keeps you informed about the weather, traffic, nearby places of interest, sports, movies, concerts, stocks, transportation and much more. Google Now does not need GPS, so you will get the right info on your smart device all day long, with minimal battery use. Depending on your use of Google Now, it will display information that you need quickly. Go to Google Now settings and select or add what you like. For example: You can go to sports > Teams and add your favorite teams to get information about your favorite sports teams. Get answers without typing. Take a photo (of landmarks, products, artwork etc.) by using your mobile camera and search relevant information about it.

You can activate Google Voice Search from anywhere in the iOS by using NowNow (your iDevice should have Google Search app installed) and that is not any new Cydia tweak. NowNow allows you to activate Google’s virtual assistant from anywhere in the iOS. And now here is something more. A cydia tweak can combine Google Now voice search and Siri together for better results. If you hate Siri voice recognition system, use this guide to enhance it.

Not everybody like Siri. Users complain that “Siri rarely, does what it is told to do”. The problem is Siri’s voice recognition approach. If you think that Google Now Voice understands your voice better then you can use Google Voice search (in Google Now) to recognize voice commands and then send them to Siri for execution. Google Now voice search seems to be fast, accurate and more responsive. Google’s voice recognition system is way better than Siri’s.

google now not available in this country

We have shared Google Now screenshots and the way how to download Google Now for Android or Apple devices. But Google Now is not available for all countries. I wonder why they limit the services when there is always a way or solution to restricted things. And this is a public app, a service that everybody should use. Then why restrict it? When I installed the Google Now on my iPad, Google Now was not working (was not on – it was disabled) and was giving me this message that “Google Now is not yet available in this Country”. So here is how you can still use Google Now anywhere.

Google Now (updated Google search app) is pretty neat app, now also available for iOS. It is available for Android as well. I have tried it on my iPad and its brilliant, smooth and useful. You have got Siri and iOS search app in your iPhone and iPad but you gonna enjoy Google Now as well.
