Apple released iOS 5.0.1 (Build 9A406) for its new smartphone, the iPhone 4S. First iOS 5.0.1 was released for iDevices with iOS 5 which did not addressed previous issues with the battery and antenna problems at a satisfying level. 5.0.1 (9A406) is said to enhance battery life. Apple has released an updated version of iOS 5, for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. After several pre-release beta releases for developers, and then iOS 5.0 here is the final update iOS 5.0.1. iOS 5.0.1 contains bug fixes and brings multitasking gestures on the first-generation iPad. It also contains fix for battery life on iOS 5, security fixes, improved voice recognition and more.

Another update for iOS 4.3 was released to fix a critical security issue (certificate validation fix). A week earlier, iOS 4.3.4 was released wich fixed Mobile Safari vulnerability.
