Computer geeks don’t like to shutdown PC or laptop more often. Thanks to Hibernation facility in Windows that enables you to store all the data as is before computer goes to sleep and make that data available for you when you resume from hibernation – all computer programs, running processes, opened windows etc. will be the same in the pattern you left them. In Windows 7 there is bug related to the Hibernation. When you hibernate your PC, it will hibernate alright. But when you resume it from hibernation a strange thing happens. Your computer screen will be dim and brightness/contrast keys won’t be working. Its like the computer running on batteries and trying to save the power but its not. There is a fix for this problem.
WordPress 2.6.5 is immediately available and fixes one security problem and three bugs. I recommend everyone upgrade to this release. The security issue is an XSS exploit discovered by Jeremias Reith that fortunately only affects IP-based virtual servers running on Apache 2.x. If you are interested only in the security fix, copy wp-includes/feed.php and wp-includes/version.php from the 2.6.5 release package.
