Nokia X – Nokia with Android

Nokia X is the first Nokia phone that is shipped with (a customized) Google’s Android operating system. The UI of the Nokia X series of phones is a blend of Android and Windows Phone (with metro style) but its a customized Android with Nokia, Android and Microsoft apps. Its truly affordable but boosts same quality standards that are maintained by the Nokia. Nokia did not offer Google apps or services such as Gmail, Google Now or even Google Play in Nokia X but now Nokia X has been rooted to run Google Apps, Play Store and Google Launcher as guided by Kashamalaga on XDA Developers.

You can call it the ‘Best Budget Android Smartphone’. It features ‘fastlane’ like Nokia Asha, that displays favorite apps, photos, Facebook posts and more on single screen. Depending on some regions, It also comes with one month free worldwide calls support on Skype. Nokia X is available in Nokia X, Nokie X+ and Nokia XL models.
