Something unexpected, powerful and mysterious – by Google. A living alien object with something inside of it, that wants to get out. Nexus Q is a media hub that streams your favorite entertainment (movies, music) directly from the cloud to your living room (to TV or speakers). Just use the Google Play and YouTube apps on your Android phone or tablet to surf music, TV, movies and music, and Nexus Q will play it all on the biggest speakers and screen in the house. There are no downloads, no syncing, no running out of space. Just the stuff you love – at home and out loud.

The Nexus Q is a media streaming entertainment device in the Google Nexus product family. The device runs version 4.0 of the Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich, and integrates with Google Play. Its a ball of plastic and wires that connects to an HDTV and turns your Android phone or tablet into a media center. Nexus Q is not 100% designed and manufactured in the U.S.. Nexus Q works only with YouTube and Google Play (No support for iTunes, Netflix, or Hulu). This media streamer heavily relies on Android devices. It acts exclusively as a receiver for audio and video content from Google’s online media services, all controlled with your Android tablet or smart phone.
