Easily control your Windows Media Player by adding it to your Windows toolbars. To do this follow the below steps.

  • Right-click on a blank portion of the Windows taskbar near right bottom corner.
  • Click Toolbars and choose Windows Media Player.
  • Now any time the Windows Media Player is open and minimized you will have a small player on the Windows toolbar.

    Hi,
I was reading your post about hiding Windows Media Player when minimized. Is there another way that I can do this? We have Group Policy enabled and can’t access the contents of the start menu and task bar. Would I be able to do this in the options of Windows Media Player?
    Thanks
    Kieran
