google plus, google+

Google is always trying and bringing amazing applications for everyone. Say hello to Google Plus (Google+). Google Plus is going to be an all in one real time social place to share and connect with people. It is said to bring FaceBook usage down. Google+ is invitation only based yet, but you can give your email to avail this service whenever they decide to open it for more people. Google Plus will use HTML5 and Javascript. You will be able to do video chat with more than one people. Group video chat is coming in Google+. Yes, imagine video conference with co-workers or video chat with family members from different places at the same time, at the same web application. Upload images and videos instantly. Share in real time – just like in real life. Google+ is a response to Facebook. Its better then Facebook.

Google Plus Features

Main categories of Google+ are circles, hangouts, instant uploads, sparks and huddle. There might be more to come but we are not sure about it yet.

Circles: Circles are groups of people. Place different people in different circles. E.g. Friends circle, colleagues circle, family circle etc.

Sparks: Sparks can help you strike up a conversation by showing you articles, blog posts and videos about the stuff you’re interested in.

HangOut: Hang out with up to ten friends, in real-time video, from anywhere. Pop in and out as you want.

Instant Uploads: Taking photos is fun. Sharing photos is fun. Getting photos off your phone is pretty much the opposite of fun. With Instant Upload, your photos and videos upload themselves automatically, to a private album on Google+. All you have to do is decide who to share them with.

Huddle: Texting is great, but not when you’re trying to get six different people to decide on a movie. Huddle turns all those different conversations into one simple group chat, so everyone gets on the same page all at once. Your thumbs will thank you.

Google Plus Mobile: Google+ brings real-life sharing to your mobile device. See what’s happening nearby, use simple group chat to make plans with your circles, and turn on Instant Upload to never leave a photo behind.
Google+ Settings: you can use settings in Google+ to manage who you share with and what you share.

Google Plus Settings: Customize what information you want to share with different groups. Customize notifications and other aspects of Google+.
