How to Download All Files from Any Page At the Same Time

by on February 18th, 2011

Many times we encounter a useful webpage with lots of files that we want to download but who wants to download files one by one? Suppose there are 500 ebooks links at a webpage or you want to download 1000 free music mp3 files present at the same page, what would you do? You can never download those all one by one, right? Here is an easy solution to download queue of hundred of files at the same time.

First thing is to check that, are those files freeware? If not then you are downloading those illegally which is prohibited. If someone allows you to download those files (in case your friend uploaded his stuff for you to download) or you own those files or in case of freeware files, go ahead. MP3 downloads for free written anywhere online does not mean that you own that music. Stay away from online illegal stuff.

If you want to download multiple files in one go then get a download manager. I use Internet Download Manager (IDM) or FlashGet (Freeware). So here is what you want to do.

  • Right click at the webpage which has got many download-able files.
  • Select download all links with IDM.
  • A window will appear gathering all the links at that page.
  • Click select all button.
  • Unselect what you do not need (mostly webpages).
  • Select ok.
  • Download manager will ask you to start processing the queue.
  • Allow it and there you go.

Sit back, relax while download manager will do all the download task of hundreds of files at the same time while you sleep.
