I have just returned from a short holiday. It was quite enjoyable, refreshing and peaceful. I had no Internet access there and I had no plans to post in that period. Its been a short break and TechMynd was not updated for a while. Its good to be back. After getting back, me and my friend bet, which browser is the best. I was Mozilla Firefox candidate and he was on the side of Opera. He had been using Opera for quite a long time and he would never change that. We decided to test our claims. After arranging two PCs for the test, I opened Firefox at mine and he opened Opera at his PC. Plan was to open several websites again and again but at the same time at both PCs, one website at a time and see which browser loads the website faster.

Firefox 3.1 and IE8 are bringing private browsing feature. It is present in Google Chrome as Incognito mode. So what's that private browsing all about?
If you've closed the browser, and there are no traces of the websites you visited in the browser's history, cookies or temporary files, that's what we call private browsing. Private browsing is NOT an anonymous service. Private browsing is only about the browser not storing information about where you've been. It doesn't make you hidden to your ISP or for example your boss if you are using the corporate network to job hunt.
Ever tried to save a webpage and it could not be saved or it was saved with missing style sheet, media or images. This great extension of Firefox forces a page to b downloaded completely with all its content in original form. 'Save Complete' saves a webpage completely, providing a better alternative to the flawed built-in save functionality of Firefox. As more and more websites use CSS, imported CSS and CSS checks, Firefox's built-in complete save becomes increasingly less effective. Save complete enhances download management ability for Mozilla firefox.
If you are using Mozilla Firefox and not not IE anymore but want to check the web page in IE too then this extension comes really handy. IE Tab is an extension used to Embed Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox. This is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your web page displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox.
